 What are your thoughts on the earthquake in Haiti?
 This is a true test of human kindness .. ever so often something of this magnitude happens to remind us of our need to love each other may we find it in our hearts to give of what we have.. I have .. Have you?

It is truly a devastating and depressing time for the less fortunate in Haiti right now. Especially with the poor economic climate of the country, it will be truly difficult to recover from such a tragedy. In whatever way we can, we should readily give our support - physical, financial, spiritual - to them and make their recovery less frustrating. My sincerest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones.

It has been an emotional week for us here at RTC. We have seen the photos, watched the videos and paid attention to networks from around the world. This is the time, this is the season to be our brothers keeper as we help Haitians to rebuild, reshape and restructure their country. Let's join forces together and help the Red Cross and all other organizations to give generously to save a life, a family, a country. Together we can do this!

Something must be done with the stevedoring systen immediately in Turks and Caicos.High prices for food is literally killing people in this country and it starts at the port.Reduce the prices on food imports NOW.The stevedoring company is scaming the people. The Governor need's to look into this matter immediately.

I think that it is to early to make a judgement on how the British is running the country. We as Turks & Caicos Islanders should stay vigilant and make our voices heard on issues that we agree or disagree with and hope that we will soon see our country back on a safe and solid financial footing. In time we will be able to tell if the British are doing this.
